The study is aimed to identify the degree to which total quality standards are met in the approved academic theses in the Department of Curricula and Teaching Methods at Ibb University and University of Saba Region from the academic year 2017 to 2024. To achieve the study objectives, the researchers use the descriptive analytical approach based on content analysis. The sample consists of 25 approved theses from both universities. A rating scale consisting of (50) items distributed over six domains was used. These six domains are the title and general framework of the study; the theoretical framework; the previous studies; the methodology and procedures of the study; the presentation, discussion and interpretation of the study results; the technical and linguistic aspects and documentation. To evaluate the selected theses and to analyze the data, a single-sample t-test and a Mann-Whitney test were used. The results show that the degree of availability of total quality standards for each domain individually and for the whole scale was average. Furthermore, there were no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the availability of quality standards in academic theses according to the variable of the university in all domains, with the exception of "the title and the general framework of the study" domain, in favor of the approved academic theses at Ibb University. One of the most important recommendations is to apply total quality standards in evaluating academic theses in the faculties of education at Yemeni universities.
