Abstract

The study is aimed to identify the impact of administrative empowerment on organizational development in the educational departments in Marib Governorate, Republic of Yemen, as well as to know the level of administrative empowerment practice and organizational development in the departments themselves. The study adopts the descriptive analytical approach. To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire is developed as a tool to collect data from the study community represented by the directors of educational departments, their deputies and heads of departments, whose total number is (240) individuals. A random sample of (67) individuals is selected, and (60) questionnaires are analyzed. The study reaches a number of results, the most important of which are: the level of both administrative empowerment and organizational development comes with a high degree of (74%, 76%), respectively, and there is a significant positive effect of administrative empowerment in organizational development, with a ratio of (72%). There is also a positive impact of the dimensions of administrative empowerment in organizational development, and the dimension of work teams is the most influential dimension of administrative empowerment in organizational development, reaching (75%). The study recommends strengthening the practice of aspects of administrative empowerment, and paying attention to training and motivating workers, due to its impact on the organizational development process in the educational departments under study.
