The Poem of «Anda›a» by Hasan Yaghnam: A Stylistic Study

This research aims to introduce a stylistic approach of Hasan Yaghnam’s selected poem ‘Anda’a’. It focuses on the stylistic features that distinguished his poetic experience from the experience of others. This study followed the analytical method that is used to analyze phonetic, structural and semantic features with trying to explain stylistic phenomena in these features. The researcher also used statistics stylistic study particularly in the topics that require statistics. The findings of this investigation revealed the following:
The dominance of the rhythmic form of the word formation (faelan) over the phonetic text structure which is represented in a form of an effective musical tone that suggests the poet’s sadness and expresses his feelings and emotions.
The dominance of the plural and infinitive forms on the phonetic and structure of the text.
The verbal structures occupied the largest space in the text structure and the past sentence was predominant.
The poet used the narrative technique as a means to express his feelings about the occasion.
The excessive use of direct rhetoric and functioning of simple metaphorical images.
