Training needs for Marib primary - school teachers from their perspective

This study aims at identifying the training needs from the perspective of primary -school teachers in Marib City. This study was carried out by using a descriptive method, and the aim of the study was achieved by preparing a questionnaire consisting of (38) items distributed in four areas: lessons planning – lesson implementation – classroom management and human relationships – evaluations styles. The questionnaires were applied to and answered by selected sample consisted of (49) male and female teachers from the primary school in Marib City. Therefore, this study has found the following results:
The degree of training needs for primary-school teachers was huge and necessary.
The study also showed that the estimation for training needs according to the differences in qualification was varied and revealed statistic differences which were in favor of those who have secondary certificates while the estimation for training needs according to the difference in number of years of experience did not indicate that there were not training needs for the selected sample who had difference in number of years of experience.
