Abstract

The current study aimed to identify the rate of optimism in the time of war and its relationship with and impact on the mental health among the students of Faculty of Education and Science- University of Saba Region and the rate of differences in optimism based on sex, marital status and scientific major. The study has been conducted on a sample of (200) students from Faculty of Education and Science- University of Saba Region. For achieving this study, the researcher follows the descriptive-analytical method.
The results of the study proved that the spread of optimism was 77% among all sample members. It is somewhat a high percentage. There is also a spread of mental health with them. They enjoy a good mental health as well. There is also an interrelated relationship, whenever there is a higher optimism, a mental health increases for males. The study also revealed that there are no significant differences in the variables of the study based on the statistical, marital status and scientific major.
