The study is aimed at identifying the positive and negative effects exerted by climatic elements, especially temperature, relative humidity, and wind speed, on human physiological comfort in Marib city during the months of the year. A number of climatic comfort indexes were applied, such as the effective temperature (Gaffney Index), the temperature-humidity index (THI) for Thom, and the wind-chill index for Siple and Passel. The study concludes that climatic elements have a significant impact on the physiological comfort of humans, and that the states of human feeling of comfort or discomfort and distress vary during the months of the year in the city of Marib, as indicated by the results of the study.
