Abstract

This work presents an innovative voltage-mode universal switched-capacitor filter and its stability response in a novel configuration. By appropriately altering the voltage-output branches of op-amps, the circuit can implement a variety of transfer functions (low-pass (LP), band-pass (BP), and high-pass (HP)) in single circuit. The circuit can be used as narrow band-pass as well as wide band-pass filter. For all Q-factor and center frequency levels, the circuit performs better in terms of band-pass. The findings demonstrate that the circuit performs better for Q=1 in the low-pass (LP) and high-pass (HP) ranges. Low sensitivity to active and passive elements characterizes the circuit. The output functions: LP, BP, and HP are getting simultaneously in single circuit. The benefit of RC-filter's stability response is that it makes sure the output signal stays within a specific range and doesn't fluctuate or diverge over time and the removal of passive components, which could reduce the chip size needed for integrated circuit (IC) implementations. The RC-filters are used in many different industries including telecommunications, automotive, medical, and consumer electronics. The theoretical results are verified using PSPICE circuit simulation program.
